fonts-croscore software package provides width-compatible fonts for improved on-screen readability, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-croscore
fonts-croscore is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-croscore package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-croscore *
You will get with fonts-croscore package name, version, architecture and description in a table
